More toys!!!

Even though I already have a 50" projection in the family room, I desperately needed something in the living room and this 42" bad boy did the trick!

And, let me tell ya, size DOES matter! :)

Dear Mr. Fed Ex Man...

...don't think I don't notice you ogling The Twins whenever you come in with your packages.

I'm onto you!

Dirty

I'm craving a martini like they're going out of style!!

My poison of choice: Dirty, Grey Goose, two olives, up.

It's 9:06AM, I know this.

Home

I'm home!

The girls and I drove 1.5 hours North to cooler weather, greener scenery, and a house so secluded in the woods that there was no chance of us being glued to our crackberries. That's my kind of weekend!

The weather, surprisingly, was not as chilly as we all expected. Saturday we met up with an old friend and had lunch and then spent the rest of the afternoon boutique shopping and admiring the sights - all in 50/60 degree weather! Which, really, wasn't that bad at all because the sun was out. Normally, anything in that range is foreign for people living in the Valley of the Scorching Sun. But it was not shabby at all! Oh, and we went to this little coffee shop that made the best, and creamiest, Frappe I've ever had! My compliments to the lovely lady that whipped up my frothy concoction.

So, roughly twenty minutes after arriving back in the city, it rains. In Phoenix. Rain. Not up North where it's supposed to rain. No. It rains here.

*sigh*

And tomorrow it's back to the grind...

Two more hours...

...until I blow this popsicle stand and head home to pack and wait for the girls to arrive so we can head North for some R & R. Maybe we'll encounter the Brawny man - flannel shirt and all!

It's gonna be chilly - in the 50s/60s. Don't laugh. I live in AZ. We bust out the parka when it's 75 degrees out. Seriously.

But I don't own a parka. But when it does get chilly, I do wear sweaters. With long sleeves.

Anyhooodles...

BEB: behave yourself this weekend! If you find yourself in a weak moment, get on your crackberry pronto and consult me prior to giving in to any funky shenanigans.
