Home

I'm home!

The girls and I drove 1.5 hours North to cooler weather, greener scenery, and a house so secluded in the woods that there was no chance of us being glued to our crackberries. That's my kind of weekend!

The weather, surprisingly, was not as chilly as we all expected. Saturday we met up with an old friend and had lunch and then spent the rest of the afternoon boutique shopping and admiring the sights - all in 50/60 degree weather! Which, really, wasn't that bad at all because the sun was out. Normally, anything in that range is foreign for people living in the Valley of the Scorching Sun. But it was not shabby at all! Oh, and we went to this little coffee shop that made the best, and creamiest, Frappe I've ever had! My compliments to the lovely lady that whipped up my frothy concoction.

So, roughly twenty minutes after arriving back in the city, it rains. In Phoenix. Rain. Not up North where it's supposed to rain. No. It rains here.

*sigh*

And tomorrow it's back to the grind...
