Why do men fall off the face of the earth and then resurface months later, send a 'hey there' text and think everything is fine?!
Oh, and the best part - he has a girlfriend!

A guy a long time ago said that men don't give 'mixed signals'. They just give signals, but it's us women who mix them up and complicate matters.
Ha! I beg to differ! What am I to make of this recent little incident?!

I'm so very happy for you and your new girlfriend of only 3 months. Really. I am. But why did you choose now - right as I was getting over the fact that you fell off the face of the earth and wrote me off - to get back in touch with me? Why?

Holy crap are we talking about the same guy? Because I posted about this very same thing! He sent me a text at 3am - luckily i was asleep - to say Hello. And he's still with his girlfriend! And I absolutely love him. And He wrote me off - so i hate to slam yet another door in the relationship room - but he opens it right back up saying - he doens't want to lose me as a friend. Well - I sent him a nice little - WTF - Message.
oh no ma'am. we must get better at the "delayed response". Men are effing brilliant at it. Clearly. I wanted to txt him back asap but made myself not do it. I waited well until noon the next day the first time (not so good) - then when he said he wanted to be friends and I sent him the WTF message - I waited 3 days before i sent it! (plus I was waaay intoxicated - so it helped me think clearly). He still hasn't replied either. ::rolling my eyes with a sigh:: They think they have power. I'm convinced that's it. Then when the right amount of time has passed and they feel like they're losing that power - they email us, or call us, or text us....I kinda know that because I do the same thing to exes. Damn Karma!!

Seriously! For like ten minute!! Y'all texted!! And then you're making excuses that he didn't text back because he just got off work!! No ma'am. You know the truth. Is it time to make your own closure? I think it's time miss ma'am. I will totally be your pep-talker!! All my friends usually call on me for that - I even have my own spotlight in the sky for when they need me. Sort of like batman - but not.

But yes, I need to slap myself around a little bit and pull myself together!
